Raj Khoshoo retired as Senior Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Siemens Digital Industries Software.

He was honored as Siemens Global 2022 Top Innovator for his contributions in integrating technology portfolio and business outcomes. Other Industry recognitions include as a leader in Supply Chain integration (Design, Value Engineering and Direct Material Sourcing)

Raj spent more than a decade managing mergers and acquisition planning ~$8B spend, with a focus on multi-year enterprise software initiatives with defined business outcomes. He developed a unique “front loaded systems driven practice for M&A”, resulting in zero failures. This assignment also included acquisitions of many smaller growth companies and successful investments in startups.

Prior to the above role Raj was a leader for various “market facing” Technology Business Segments in variety of domains in Product Lifecyle Management, every time focused on hyper growth.

In his last role at Siemens, Raj was focused on developing disruptive strategic partnerships that extended Siemens reach in product portfolio, market reach and technology footprint. Several examples of these partnership include SAP, IBM and Nvidia: Business framework for integration of Nvidia Omniverse with the Siemens Xcelerator Portfolio as a key enabler for Industrial Metaverse; Co-development alliance with IBM to develop common SysML2 based framework for next generation Model Based System Engineering including multi-domain applications; Co-developing joint portfolio for a closed loop integration between SAP ERP and Teamcenter. This partnership also involved SAP getting distribution rights for Teamcenter. Before joining Siemens, Raj worked in the automotive and machine tool industries in product development and manufacturing engineering. He is responsible for several innovations in the integration of electronics and hydraulics in machine tools.

Raj holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (IIT BHU) and Master’s degeee in Computer Science (NJIT).

For over 12 years, Raj conducted advanced MBA projects as part of Kearney Student Lab Program: Capstone MBA course at the Tepper and Heinz Schools at Carnegie Mellon University; Booth Business School at the University of Chicago. For the past few years Raj was also involved in conducting projects at Paul Merage Business School in the MBA Program at University of California, Irvine (UCI).

Raj also serves on the Advisory Board of ATREE, a “think tank” organization in biodiversity conservation and sustainable development
